Eye Cream Reviews Current As Of January, 2009

Best Eye Cream

LifecellskinBest Eye Cream

Lifecell is by far the best eye cream I've ever seen. I haven't seen anything else come close in terms of effectiveness, reliability, and safety (no side effects…women, watch out for side effects with other creams).

I've talked to hundreds of people who have used it and almost every one showed a visible improvement around their eyes, eye lids, and eye brows. They look noticeably younger and their skin looks and feels much healthier, tighter, and brighter after using it.

I've seen it virtually eliminate dark circles from under eyes, reduce puffiness, remove bags from under the eyes, and get rid of wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes over and over again. It is really good stuff.

Estee Lauder Future Perfect Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Eye Cream Review

Estee Lauder Future Perfect Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Eye Cream

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$40.00 Estee Lauder Future Perfect Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Eye Cream .5 oz. (Plus Shipping)

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Non-oily
  • Ingredients are very hydrating
  • Great eye cream for puffy eyes
  • Is not known to cause any side-effects such as break-outs or milia
  • Works well with make-up
  • Good scent

  • Other positive review:
    • o My husband bought this eye cream because his under eye area was dry and little lines were forming too soon. Within a month we both were surprised how the tiny lines had vanished and his eye area looked soft. I use it myself and I like it too. Really good product!

Other factors to consider:

  • Has minimal effects for fine lines
  • Expensive
  • Has not worked for a few who have tried it
  • Does not work as well for women over 30
  • Other negative reviews:
    • "I use other products from Estee Lauder and I thouht I'd try this one, but it didn't meet my expectations. It's a good cream but it's not worth the money, you can buy similar products cheaper. I wouldn't recomand it to anyone above 30. "

Description: Estee Lauder is one of the more expensive products in the beauty industry. It would be quite apparent that this product would also be a tad more expensive than your regular over the counter products. This eye cream is one under the blemish and wrinkle treatments by Lauder, described by the company as:

“Estee Lauder Future Perfect Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Eye Cream: Significantly smoothes the look of your eye area with all the groundbreaking, targeted Cell Vector technology of Future Perfect face crèmes Smooth it on and instantly brighten the look of dark circles. Keep your skin perfectly hydrated Silky eye crème reduces the look of eye lines and wrinklesfast. You'll see a younger, more revitalized look return”

Majority of the women have found this eye cream to work, although not much for their eye wrinkles, but have found it good for other skin problems such as eye puffiness, and for the lighter types of eye wrinkles. The best factors about this anti wrinkle treatment is that its ingredients are great for hydrating and moisturizing the applied areas. It also has a light scent that isn’t irritating. It may not be as effective for women over 30, since its effects are very light. But there are less fears of trying it if you’re willing to shell out the cash. This is because there are no reported cases of major of even minor side effects such as break-outs, milia, or itchiness. It also goes well with make-up like some eye creams, and does not produce extra oil that would end up as greasy oil on your face.

Directions for Use: Dab a small amount under and around the eyes, morning and night.

Ingredients: powerful antioxidant NDGA, Vitamin C and Siegesbeckia (a soothing and protective herb), which are delivered to the skin via Cell Vectors

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: The perfect way to greet the new year, for the young, posh, and willing to spend a lot for their skin, this can provide them with the protection they need from premature aging. If you’re suffering from more, and more extreme problems, you should try on a different eye cream.

Anthony Logistics for Men Eye Cream Review

Anthony Logistics for Men Eye Cream Review

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$28.00 Anthony Logistics for Men Eye Cream .75 oz. (Plus Shipping)

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Moisturizes
  • Designed to reduce dark circles and smoothen lines
  • For men skin types

  • Other positive review:
    • My husband bought this eye cream because his under eye area was dry and little lines were forming too soon. Within a month we both were surprised how the tiny lines had vanished and his eye area looked soft. I use it myself and I like it too. Really good product!

Other factors to consider:

  • Has no effects against eye puffiness for some
  • Causes irritations for some users
  • Scented
  • Not good for sensitive skin
  • Other negative reviews:
    • "I was really disappointed with this product - it's that poor it made absolutely no difference to my under eye area. Expensive product that delivers nothing unlike other products in this range."

Description: Move over a while ladies, we’re not the only ones concerned with skin. There are a lot of men who also consider their eye areas to need immediate action, and so, this is one of the eye cream for men. Anthony Logistics for Men Eye Cream is one of the few, and more popular eye creams for men. It’s definitely much bigger than the regular eye cream and is described to be

“Light and easily absorbed, this excellent eye cream will help reduce fine lines and the signs of ageing. It also contains ingredients designed to strengthen the delicate tissue under the eyes to help reduce dark shadows and puffiness.”

The sales says a lot about the product. The only problem is it does not work well with men who have sensitive skin. It may be of little concern for most men who does not have very sensitive skin due to only minimal exposure to chemicals. Overall, this could be a good eye cream for men.

Directions for Use: Dab a small amount under and around the eyes, morning and night.

Ingredients: Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein Natural Ingredient. Improves elasticity, moisturises and conditions, helps increase firmness.
Shea Butter For smoother, more supple skin. Eases wrinkles and texturizes.
Glycerin Holds and retains moisture on the skin. Helps bind moisture to the skin.
Cucumber Extract Helps bind moisture, soothes, tightens and refreshes.
Green Tea Extract Potent anti-oxidant, helps reduce puffiness.
Vitamin E Natural-based ingredient. Antioxidant that nourishes conditions and feeds the skin. Improves moisture capacity of skin.
Caffeine Helps eliminates dark circles

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: IThe first ever eye cream for men review, I made it a point to choose one of the creams recommended by men I know who actually try these sort of products out. Because I have had no experience with eye cream, I base this purely on men comments and reviews. Their recommendations definitely were in line with what I have searched. Setting aside the minimum who have not seen any results, this would be an eye cream to try out.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal Review

Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal Review

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Price:$99.00 Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal .5 oz. (Plus Shipping)

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Dark circles
  • Minimizes fine lines
  • Doesn’t feel heavy
  • Gets easily absorbed
  • Other positive review:
    • This is a fantastic addition to the pro-collagen range, it is lightweight but yet very moisturising. This product is easily absorbed around the eye area, and a single pump does both eyes, which makes it last for ages! I have been using this since it was launched, and have seen a reversal of the fine dehydration lines (aka wrinkles) that had started to appear on the outer corners of my eyes.

Other factors to consider:

  • Stings the eyes
  • Has a tendency to clog pores
  • Doesn’t go well with make-up
  • Expensive
  • Other negative reviews:
    • I have been using the cream for approx 3weeks. I have noticed a difference in my dark circles. The only thing is wen i now apply my conceler it does not sit smoothly, where as before i cld get a nice smooth coverage now it jus clogs up and makes my eye area look dark. Does this happen to anyone else or is it jus me

Description: This is in the line of the more expensive eye creams, with a price of $99, a price you don’t usually shell out for an eye cream. The product is said to:

This intensive eye cream is formulated with a unique synergy of potent seaweeds that cleverly mimics the skin's function. The pwoerful anti-wrinkle properties of Padina Pavonica combined with the Amino Acids, Beta Carotenes and Vitamins B, C and E contained in Chlorella and Blue Green Micro-algae, help to smooth, firm and support ageing skin. Results are further optimixed with the anti-Oxidant properties of Methylsilanol Munnuronate, an organic derivate of seaweed that binds moisture in the Epidermis. Independent Clinical Trials* have proven that the appearance of fine lines around the eye contour is visibly toned and smoothed to reveal truly youthful eyes.

There are only a few reviews online about this eye cream, so research might be a bit difficult for you. However, for this much, I would expect optimum results with very minimal negativities to consider.

Directions for Use: Morning and evening, warm 2 pumps of Pro-Collagen between fingers and with firm patting movements work the product around the contour of both eyes, taking care not to drag the eye.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, PEG 8, Methylsilanol Mannuronate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Hexyldecanol, Hexyldecyl Laurate, Padina Pavonica Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Sorbitol, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Fragrance (Parfum), Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Algae Extract, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Tocopherol, Equisetum Arvense Extract, Persea Gratissima Leaf Extract (Avocado), Polygonum Fagopyrum Seed Extract, Hydroxyisohexyl 3 Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Acacia Decurrens Absolute, Rosa Damascena Flower Absolute, Butylphenyl Methylpropional

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: I’m not very keen on this product. Although it does work for some women, for a price like this, I would expect exceptional results. I would suggest you go search for other natural eye creams with equal or better results, for a lower price

L'Occitane Immortelle Eye Balm Review

L'Occitane Immortelle Eye Balm Review

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Price:$34.00 L'Occitane Immortelle Eye Balm Review.5 oz. (Plus Shipping)

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Not greasy
  • Minimizes fine lines
  • Pleasant smell
  • Works for puffy eyes
  • Other positive review:
    • TI can't believe the negatives about this product. I love it! It makes the skin around the eye super soft and soaks right in. It isn't heavy and greasy at all. Very light and has a pleasant smell. Thumbs up!
      -BeKind20thers

I adore this eye balm! It soaks right in and has really made a wonderful difference in the skin around my eyes in a very short period of time. It also reduces the puffiness when applied in the morning before make-up.
      -duBarry

Other factors to consider:

  • Peels off for some
  • Balls under the make-up
  • Bad packaging
  • Light moisturizing effects
  • Gives some women allergies
  • Other negative reviews:
    • Terrible! Did nothing and was not hydrating at all… and it was super expensive. Returned it after about a month of using it with no results.
      annaginsberg

This eye balm balls up on me! I had to pick the bits off my eye area after it became dry. Not something you want to do in the morning when you are in a rush. I have never used any eye cream that balls up! I used to be curious about L'Occitane's facial skin care products, but this eye balm, in addition to another disappointing product from the same product line, has really turned me off! I think I will never buy any facial products from this brand again.
      sallin

Description: Immortelle Eye Balm by L’Occitane is often suggested for the treatment of dark circles. The product is described by the company as such:

An eye cream with anti-aging benefits: Reduce dark circles, puffiness and signs of tiredness around the eyes with this gentle cream. Formulated with Immortelle essential oil, this cream will soothe, moisturize, nourish and tone the delicate skin around the eyes.

Ironically, the positive reviews of the users of Immortelle Eye Balm claim its effectivity more on the reduction of eye wrinkles, rather than the treatment of dark circles. It is said to reduce eye wrinkles, but is mostly useless for those dark circles around the eyes. Other positive points about this eye cream is that its not greasy, and also reduces the puffiness of the eyes. It has been pointed out by many though, that the eye balm has a tendency to ball up when used under make-up. There are also reports of certain allergies experienced after the product use. The eye balm comes in a glass tub, which is mostly disliked by many of the users. It has a light scent that does not irritate or noticeably stay on the face very long.

Directions for Use: To apply, tap a small amount of Eye Balm on the bone around the eye twice daily.

Ingredients: WATER, ROSA CENTIFOLIA FLOWER WATER, POLYMETHYL METHACRYLATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, RUSCUS ACULEATUS ROOT EXTRACT, GLYCERIN, MYRETH-3-MYRISTATE, NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIETHYLHEXANOATE, DECYL OLEATE, HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN, POLYACRYLAMIDE, HELICHRYSUM ITALICUM EXTRACT, ZEA MAYS (CORN) STARCH , SORBITOL, DIMETHICONE, C13-14 ISOPARAFFIN, HEDERA HELIX (IVY) EXTRACT, PHENOXYETHANOL, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER) EXTRACT, TOCOPHEROL, CARBOMER, LAURETH-7, XANTHAN GUM, BENZOIC ACID

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: Not effective as an eye cream for dark circles. Rather, you could consider it for the treatment of your fine lines. However, I would like to reiterate the possible side effects and allergies you may experience with the eye cream. I would recommend getting hold of a tester, before buying the actual eye balm.

Vita-K Solution Professional For Dark Circles Review

Vita-K Solution Professional For Dark Circles Review

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

Price:$13.30 Vita-K Solution Professional For Dark Circles .5 oz. (Plus Shipping)

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Good value
  • Not very expensive
  • Works for dark circles
  • Stinging disappears after a week of use
  • Other positive review:
    • This product really works!!! I didn't believe at first that a face cream would actually reduced the appearance of eye dark circles. My wife dark circles were huge and very obscured and this product really reduced them to normal levels. The dark circles didn't dissapear, and I think it was because they were very severe, but my wife is very happy to have just very mild dark circles now instead of really black ones.

Other factors to consider:

  • Stings the eyes
  • No effects for fine lines, puffy or baggy eyes
  • Sometimes causes puffiness around the eyes
  • Produces shiny effect
  • Other negative reviews:
    • This product did nothing it promised. It dries out the eye area and actually burned so bad it made my eyes water every time I used it. Not worth buying …look for something else!

Description: Vita-K Solution Professional for Dark Circles is of course, designed to diminish or minimize the dark circles around the eyes. The product description, according to its site, is that:

Vita-K Solution Professional Dark Circles minimizes the appearance of Dark Circles. Formulated with ProVita-K Complex combines the remarkable proven benefits of Vitamin K with a unique amino acid/polypeptide complex that significantly improves the appearance of tone and elasticity, and dramatically reduces the appearance of dark circles with the very first application. Enriched with new ProVita-K Complex & mica. New Professional Vita-K Solution provides instant results. No expensive treatments or surgery needed. Clinically Tested & Guaranteed.

In general, it is quite effective on treating those dark circles. Many have already attested to its effectivity as an eye cream for dark circles. What’s best about this product is that it costs less than $20.00, with a price of only 13.30 in Amazon. However, there are some skin types that do not go well with Vita-K Solution Professional for Dark Circles. The most typical negative effects are the stinging of the eye area upon application, and the noticed dryness and puffiness of the skin area being applied. It is said that the stingy feel will disappear after a week or so of use, but there are some women who do not go beyond a single or few applications due to the felt irritation.

Directions for Use: For best results apply a sufficient amount on the desired area twice a day, preferably after shower or bath. Use 4-6 weeks continuously for optimum benefits. When desired results are achieved; continue to use once a day to help keep age spots from reappearing. Results may vary depending on your skin type and condition.

Ingredients: Water, Acrylates Copolymer, ProVita-K Complex, Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapepboe-7, Mica, Nylon-12, Panthenol, Phytonadione - Vitamin K1, Silica, Glycerin, Cellulose Gum, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: As an eye cream for dark circles, it is regarded as pretty effective, and I would rate it as a 3. However, if other considerations are also looked upon, like for example other eye area problems, I would rate it as a 2, most especially if you have pretty sensitive skin in that area. Before using, be careful and consider possible irritation. If the only bearable, light stings are experienced then it is safe to continue use, if not, check out our best eye cream reviews for the best choices.

Mary Kay Timewise Firming Eye Cream Review

Mary Kay Timewise Firming Eye Cream

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$12.00 Mary Kay Timewise Firming Eye Cream .65 oz.

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Instant moisturizing effects
  • Minimizes fine lines
  • Works for majority of the women in treating fine lines
  • Bottle size
  • Not very expensive
  • Other positive review:
    • I may have recently turned 37 but with this wonder firming eyecream I don't look a day over 30! I love it. It goes on easily and doesn't burn your eyes after the application. Best out there!

Other factors to consider:

  • Contains mineral oil
  • Causes milia for some of the users
  • Runs off with sweat
  • The pump has a tendency to dry up and create balls from the eye cream stuck in the pump tube
  • Other negative reviews:
    • I did not like this product because I had the MK age fighting eye cream before and it did not compare to it. It didnt spread easily or make my eyes feel really moisturized. I definately liked the Age fighting cream much more. Plus the packaging is bad, every time I use it I have to push out about quarter of an inch of dried product and its just a waste!

Description:

Ninety-six percent saw an improvement in the overall appearance of the skin around their eyes.* Experience the results for yourself!

Just imagine a luxuriously rich eye cream so advanced it firms, brightens, provides intense moisturization, plus minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. With new TimeWise® Firming Eye Cream, you can have it all. It delivers more benefits for the younger-looking eyes you want to see.

*Based on a 12-week clinical study

… that, as described by their website. In reviews, there is a good number of positive reviews, agreeing with the product advertisement, more especially with minimizing the eye wrinkles. Another good thing about this product, is it is sold at a very competitive price, only 12 dollars from Amazon, and, it comes in a .65 oz bottle, which is .15 oz more than the typical packaging. However, there may be a good reason for this extra. Although refuted by some, there are probably some manufacturing instabilities with the packaging. There are some women who complain about getting dry, balled up eye cream along with the fresh eye cream, which means you get a certain waste of money.

Another issue is the mineral oil content in the eye cream, which sometimes produces milia for some women. And, although thick during application, it has a tendency to run with sweat on those certain times.

Directions for Use: Dab around the eye area in the morning and evening.

Ingredients: WATER, PETROLATUM, MINERAL OIL, STEARIC ACID, SAFFLOWER SEED OIL, GRLYCERETH-26, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, CLYCERYL STEARATE, TRIISOSTEARYL, TRILINOLEATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, GLYCERIN, ISOTRIDECYL STEARATE, CETYL ALCOHOL, TRIETHANOLAMINE, STEARYL ALCOHOL, PEG-100 STEARATE, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-3, PALMITOYL OLIGOPEPTIDE, DIPALMITOYL HYDROXYPROLINE, ANTHEMIX NOBILIS FLOWER EXTRACT, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, TOCOPHEROL, PANTHENOL, BUTYLENE GLYCOL

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: This is definitely not one of the best eye creams we have reviewed in this site, but is still worth considering. Not exactly useless, and in fact, could help with the fine lines. However, I would be careful with certain allergies you could experience with some of the ingredients. If you’ve tested this eye cream, and still not content, or do not want to try this product at all, check out other eye creams like Kinerase eye cream or Neutrogena eye cream.

Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye & Lip Cream Review

Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye & Lip Cream Review

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

Price:$33.00 Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye & Lip Cream.50 oz.

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Women with very dry skin
  • Treating fine lines
  • Unscented
  • Lasts a long time and requires minimal application
  • Works with some women in treating fine lines
  • Other positive review:
    • I really can't be without my Philosophy, but particularly Hope in a Tube! It has been great at minimizing the fine lines around my eyes and it's so soothing in the am & pm!

Other factors to consider:

  • Too thick
  • Leaves residue
  • Clogs the pores
  • Doesn’t absorb easily
  • Other negative reviews:
    • I really didn't like this eye cream. It's too thick and didn't hydrate my eyes well at all.
I'm using the rest of the tube as a lip cream and that seems to work well.

Description: Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye & Lip Cream is designed by Philosophy to target fine lines. Their site says:

your eye cream should never feel like your moisturizer and our contour cream is no exception. upon application immediate skin smoothing benefits are realized due to the unique consistency of the formula. the formula incorporates a synergistic blend of both topical e and c along with topical polyphenols to help firm and revitalize eyes and lips. results are excellent and immediate.
you need this product if…
• you are showing progressive signs of aging
• your fine lines are getting deeper
• your current eye cream feels too much like a regular moisturizer
• you want immediate results that can be seen and felt
• you want to temporarily erase fine lines and wrinkles around the eye and lip area

It is often described as very thick and creamy, which could go both ways, depending on your skin type. This is also the reason why this eye cream lasts a long time, and would probably make up for the price of 33 dollars. If not suited for your skin, you end up with trying to apply the eye cream for a long time, and later, with the residue left by this. It also has a tendency to clog pores, causing milia to form around the eyes.
It has been reported to work for some women as well, preferred for the disappearance of fine lines, and the lack of scent, which sometimes irritate the skin.

Directions for Use: Apply each morning and night as the last step in your skin care routine. application should be limited to the outer areas of the eye and lip.

Ingredients: water, squalane, mineral oil, glycerin, isocetyl stearoyl stearate, petrolatum, butylene glycol, polyglyceryl-2-diisostearate, peg-30 dipolyhydroxystearate, ceresin wax, polyethylene, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, microcrystalline wax, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, magnesium sulfate, tocopheryl acetate, bisabolol, polysorbate-20, potassium ascorbyl tocopheryl phosphate, methylparaben, ethylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, tetrasodium edta, iron oxides, dimethicone

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: This eye cream is definitely not for those with oily to normal skin types. If you have dry skin and problems with eye wrinkles, then you might give this eye cream a try. If this isn’t your type of eye cream, check out other eye creams we have already reviewed.

Korres Olive and Rye Eye Cream Review

Korres Olive and Rye Eye Cream Review

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

Price:$38.50 Korres Olive and Rye Eye Cream.51 oz.

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Women with very dry skin
  • Treating fine lines
  • Natural ingredients
  • Nice scent
  • Other positive review:
    • I have very dry skin. I have used the same brand of night cream for years but thought I would give this a try. I would not go so far as to say it was better than my other night cream but it is less expensive and it moisturizes & softens my skin & the scent is divine.

Other factors to consider:

  • Greasy
  • Too heavy for some women
  • Korres long line of eye creams sometimes lead to confusion on which one to use
  • Does not work for some women
  • Many are resistant to pure natural ingredients
  • Other negative reviews:
    • Tried it, but didn’t work for me at all. I saw no difference. This eye cream is useless

Description: Korres Olive and Rye Eye Cream is the second product we have reviewed in the long line of Korres eye cream. It is described by the company as:

An eye cream with antiaging and firming action for mature skin types. What it is formulated to do:Korres Olive & Rye Eye Cream contains a high percentage of vegetable oil (53%) and uses a special technique to ensure the gradual release of its active ingredients. It also provides nourishment for the skin that lasts throughout the entire night. What else you need to know:This product is 93.1% natural and is free of petrochemicals, mineral oils, silicones, and parabens.

And true to their word, their ingredients truly are very natural, sticking to the theme of an all natural eye cream. There are some positive reviews received by this eye cream, specifically with its effectivity on the reduction of fine lines, and additional moisturizing of the eye area. If there is one prominent complaint, it is that, for some women, its texture has a tendency to become too rich for the normal type of skin, who aims to prevent rather than cure. The end result is a greasy feel after the application.

There are also some women who declared not experience any result from this eye cream, probably due to the immunity to natural eye creams, which is a natural tendency of the skin.

Directions for Use: In the evening after cleansing, apply to the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. For best results, use in conjunction with Olive and Rye Day Cream.

Ingredients: Olive, Rye Extract, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil, Almond Oil

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: Coincidentally, the previous eye cream review was on Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil, another eye treatment that evolves around the natural ingredients. If you prefer to go natural, but stick to the cream rather than the oil, this eye cream is for you. If not, then check on the eye cream, this might be more to your taste.

Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil Review

Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil Review

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$42.00 Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil .3 oz.

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • • Great texture and scent
    • Has effective results for most women
    • Better for women with dry skin
    • Works for most women who have tried

  • Other positive review:
    • A very good all natural eye moisturizer. All you need is a small amount and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It helps my under eye concealer go on smooth. Really helps diminish the fine wrinkles. I use it morning and night. This is one of two products I use from this line. Very nourishing.

Other factors to consider:

  • Expensive, specially for the amount
  • Comes in glass bottle which is breakable
  • For those who have tried eye creams, shift may be awkward
  • Too much for oily skin
  • Some women experience breakouts
  • Sometimes leaves the applied area oily
  • Other negative reviews:
    • A nice concept this and lasts ages, smells nice too. However in terms of effectiveness it doesn't really live up to it's claims or the high price tag. The oil goes on nice and leaves no oily, greasy residue on the skin but does nothing for puffy eye, dark circles, fine lines.

Description: Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil is an example of an Ayuverdic anti aging product, or that which contains natural ingredients. It has received some positive reviews for some women. According to their site:

In Clinical Studies:
-64% of users felt that their eyes looked smoother, had better texture and fewer lines and wrinkles.
-44% improvement in spacing of fine lines
-26% improvement in spacing of crows feet
-52% of users rated this product better than their current eye treatment product.

Since typically, eye creams are the first options when it comes to skin care, there might be some awkwardness with the start of the use. Since the base is oil, there are also some women who experience break outs due to excessive oils on the surface of the skin. If your skin is more on the dry side this could work for you, but remember that you are paying 42.00 dollars for just .3 oz, as compared to the natural regular size of .5 for some other products with the same price.

Directions for Use: Apply a drop of the product on the ring or middle finger, and then gently tap into the outer eye area. It should not be directly applied to the eyelid. It may be used both morning and night.

Ingredients: Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil is loaded with Roman chamomile, reported to be high in vitamin B, and considered safe for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. Additional ingredients are aloe vera gel, long known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and avocado oil, which is rich in anti-aging vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin E. Additionally, avacado oil is highly emollient, making it ideal for dry and mature skin. The overall effect of these key ingredients is a brighter under eye area, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is softened, and overall improved elasticity in the eye area.

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: Natural products are one of the favorites when it comes to skin care, however, that is not an assurance this product will work on anyone. If you’d like to see how it can work for you, you can also get Sundari Chamomile Eye Oil here, or check out other eye cream reviews.

Relastin Eye Silk Review

Relastin Eye Silk Review

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$69.00 Relastin Eye Silk .5 oz.

Guarantee: 30 day trial

Most effective for:

  • Has a 30 day trial period
  • Smooth texture
  • Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner in the Category of Best of Skin – Eye Cream
  • Majority of those who have used the product minimized their wrinkles
  • Other positive review:
    • First the texture is very unique, it goes on with a powdery silicon feel and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily or thick. I have been using the product for just under one month and I am really noticing that my skin snaps back quicker and doesn't sag near as much.

Other factors to consider:

  • Has a tendency to be flaky for oily skin
  • Some women experienced no difference
  • Expensive
  • Other negative reviews:
    • As soon as I put this on my under eye area, it completely balls and flakes off! I've never had any eye treatment product in my 42 years do this! I can't even pass this product onto a friend or relative; only into the garbage. What a joke. AND a waste of money.

Description: The Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner in the Category of Best of Skin – Eye Cream definitely adds in some plus points. These are the product claims:

Based on clinical studies* among women who used RELASTIN, women saw results in as little as 2-4 weeks, including:
• 82% saw a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
• 75% saw a visible reduction in eye puffiness
• 81% saw improved skin firmness
• 90% thought that RELASTIN left skin smoother
• 75% said it improved elasticity

But aside from the award, women who have actually tried it have also given out some positive responses to this cream. The usual positive review is that it is effective for minimizing fine lines, and lifting those saggy skin caused by baggy eyes. On the negative side, aside from not having any improvements for some women, others also found it to flake or ball upon application. Given that this is on the expensive side, it is expected to be of better consistency. Luckily, this tendency of the texture comes in rarely, as based on the numerous reviews of the product.

Directions for Use: Gently pat Relastin Eye Silk under and over your eyes twice each day — once in the morning after your regular cleansing routine and a second time in the evening before you go to bed. If used an average 1 - 2 times per day, 1 bottle of Relastin Eye Silk should be expected to last 45-60 days.

Ingredients: patent-pending Zinc Firming Complex, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Zinc Complex, Mica, Titanium Dioxide.

Sunscreen: None
