Eye Cream Reviews Current As Of September, 2010
Best Eye CreamThis website was created to find the best eye cream in the market. After switching to dermajuv for a while, I went back to LifecellSkin.

Lifecell promotes a slew of anti-aging properties that penetrate the skin and effectively deliver a host of skin agents that hydrate, tone, and reduce facial lines. Everyone who has used he LifeCell shared a visible reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. Their skin appeared significantly stronger, brighter and tighter than before using the product. The cost is also a major plus because it is not as expensive as other products out there today. It has worked better than all the other eye creams out there.

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Eye Cream Review

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Eye Cream Review

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

Price:$27.00 Aveda Tourmaline Charged Eye Cream .5 oz.

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Ingredients that are proven to help with hydration
  • Lightens under eye dark circles
  • Not too thick
  • Lasts for a long time
  • Other positive review:
    • I have liked the Aveda Tourmaline Charged Eye Cream for several years now. It's very silky and soft and it's not too thick, it soaks right in. I apply it around my orbital bone in the morning and at night and it works very well for me. It reminds me a little bit of the MAC fast response eye cream. It comes in a tube and you only need to use a very small amount. It doesn't have a strong scent. I really like it. I would not recommend this if you have extremely dry skin and need a heavier, more moisturizing cream.

Other factors to consider:

  • Does not work well with concealers
  • Most women have seen no effects for lightening dark circles and crow’s feet
  • May cause pimples for some
  • Comes in a plastic tube
  • Other negative reviews:
    • I usually love Aveda products, but this definitely didn't do any good for me. It didn't even come close to being moisturizing enough for my eye area. And, even worse, was when it was applied under concealer.

Description: This eye cream was described by their website as “Brightens dark circles, reduces puffiness and energizes skin.” However, most of the women who have used it complains because of the lack of effects it has on the problems presented. If you do buy it, the good thing is you get to really test its effectivity for your skin type because the eye cream requires only minimal application, thus, allowing you a longer time of testing the product.

The major set-back is that it produces a cakey look when used under a concealer, which is considered to be an important factor for eye creams.

Directions for Use: In the a.m. and p.m., pat gently around eye area using ring finger. Use prior to eye makeup application.

Ingredients: Indian pennywort, Lime, Lycopene (an extract from tomato), Natural anti-oxidants, Petitgrain, Tourmaline, Vitamin C, Vitamin E

Sunscreen: None

Recommendation: This eye cream is not intensive enough with hydrating for evening use, and cannot work with make-up which disqualifies it as a day-cream as well. I would recommend to browse through other eye creams before choosing the eye cream for you.
