Other factors to consider:
- Does nothing for major eye problems
- Unattractive scent
Description: Neutrogena Healthy Defense eye cream is best noted for its sun block feature which is an SPF30, higher than most eye creams in the market. Some women buy and use this product for this feature alone, specially the younger women with minimal eye problem, more for defense rather than treatment. This is for a good reason. This eye cream is not very popular for treating those dark circles, baggy eyes, and wrinkles in the eye area.
Another good feature of this specific Neutrogena eye cream is that it leaves a light tint on the applied area, which temporarily covers the black rings in the eye. The problem is, that is all it does for the dark circles, merely cover it temporarily. The texture is good and it does not hurt the eyes, however, it has a strange scent to it, a comment, which I personally share with other users.
Directions for Use: Using the pinky gently tap around the eye area twice a day.
Ingredients: water, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, glycerin, silica, dimethicone, octyldodecyl/PPG-3 myristyl ether dimer dilinoleate, glyceryl stearate, PEG 100 stearate, potassium cetyl phosphate, behenyl alcohol, dipropylene glycol benzoate, caprylyl methicone, xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol, dipropylene glycol, boswellia serrata gum, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, butylene glycol, enteromorpha compressa extract, meadowfoam (limanthes alba) seed oil, tocopheryl acetate, BHT, polymethyl methacrylate, pantothenate acid, ascorbic acid, retinyl palmitate, bisabolol, citric acid, PEG 12 dimethicone, xanthan gum, chlorphenesin, hydrogenated palm glycerides, PPG 15 stearyl ether benzoate, triethoxycaprylylsilane, sopropylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, iron oxides
Sunscreen: SPF 30
Recommendation: If you have minimal eye problem and looking for an eye cream with a high SPF, this is your cream. However, if you’re meaning to treat those eye wrinkles, dark circles, and baggy eyes, this eye cream would be a waste of money. The only good thing about this is that it has SPF.
