7 Second Eye Lift Review

Rating: 0/100

Price: $24.95

7 Second Eye Lift

Target Area(s): Puffiness and fine lines – Use as a day cream

7 Second Eye Lift claims to be able to reduce signs of aging around the eyes such as puffiness and dark lines, as well as make the skin smoother and younger looking; all this within just 7 seconds of using this cream. It claims to make use of very powerful ingredients and peptides that will help improve your eyes in no time at all so that you may look younger and have glowing eyes.

Most Effective For:

  • Improving the skin and reducing wrinkles due to its very good ingredients

Other Factors to Consider:

  • Does not provide the results that customers want
  • Received a lot of negative user reviews
  • Makes outrageous claims that they cannot live up to

Description: The combined actions of all these ingredients should be able to eliminate wrinkles, improve your skin, decrease puffiness of the eyes, eliminate dark lines and many more. Unfortunately, this might be too much for a cream to have and the concentrations of each of these ingredients might not be enough to produce the results that you want. When you look at the customer testimonials about this product, you will see that it has received a lot of bad comments and reviews. This is most likely due to having too many of these ingredients in just one cream. It is not a good idea to use all of these at once. The combination of these ingredients don't necessarily increase its effects, even though individually they would work well on the skin. Another problem with this product is that it makes claims that would be very hard to live up to. Almost no cream would make you look younger in as fast as 7 seconds, which is probably why a lot of people were disappointed with this cream. It should make realistic claims that it can live up to so that people would not end up being disappointed with the results.

Ingredients: Some of the ingredients used in the 7 Second Eye Lift are retinyl palmitate, eyeseryl, syn-coll, vitamin C, pepha tight and matrixyl 3000.

Guarantee: None

JEN says: Its price of $24.95 may seem like a good price for an eye cream. But with all the negative comments it got from its users, it is not a good idea to spend this amount of money on a cream that would just disappoint you. Do NOT buy this cream. If you're looking to treat your dark circles, instead of 7 Second Eye Lift, you may check our BioElements Multi Task Eye Cream Review, it is an eye cream for dark circles, but not really recommended if you have overall eye skin problems.

4VOO Rejuvenating Eye Gel Review

star ratings small

Rating: 69/100

Price: $70.00

4VOO Rejuvenating Eye Gel

Target Area(s): Wrinkles, fine lines and smoothens skin – Used as a day cream

The 4VOO are products that were made especially for men. The rejuvenating Eye Gel claims to help reduce fine lines and wrinkle at the corner of the eyes, decrease puffiness under the eyes and prevent dark circles from forming under the eyes. It claims to moisturize the skin around the eyes and boost cell repair so that any blemishes may be quickly fixed and your eyes will be able to regain its glowing appearance.

Most Effective For:

  • Effectively reducing wrinkles and fine lines near the eyes with palmitoyl pentapeptide 3
  • Fighting the effects of aging with antioxidants
  • Making the skin smoother and softer due to its moisturizing effects

Other Factors to Consider:

  • May not be able to solve common eye problems such as puffiness
  • Is a bit expensive for an eye cream at $70

Description: 4VOO Rejuvenating Under Eye Gel is a soothingly refreshing luxurious product that increases firmness and elasticity, reduces fine wrinkles, reduces puffiness, and prevents dark circles. It also assists in the rejuvenation process of the delicate tissues around the eyes, hydrates firms and tones the skin for immediate visible improvement. Increase your confidence with eyes that exude vitality and intensity. This solution immediately firms and tones the delicate skin around the eyes. Some ingredients include: dipeptide-2 – increases lymphatic circulation, hyaluronic acid – component of skin tissue that is used in skin care products as an excellent water-binding agent, palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 – improves the appearance of wrinkles (research shows it to be more effective than retinol or vitamin c in skin care products), and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 – restores cytokine balance to mature skin helps skin appear younger looking

Direction for Use: Do not be alarmed the first time you use it. It immediately firms and tones the delicate skin around the eyes. During the day we recommend that you apply it under the eye only. Before sleeping, apply it around the entire eye, but do not place any on the eyelid itself. Our recommended method of application is to place one drop of gel onto the tip of your pinkie finger and gently dab or stroke it onto the under eye area, working from the outside of the eye towards the nose.

Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, Dipeptide-2, Hesperidin (Vitamin P), Galactoarabinan, Steareth-20, Algae (Seaweed), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Carbomer, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile), Echinacea Purpurea (Purple Coneflower), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber), Elastin, Faex (Brewer's Yeast), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary), Vitis Vinifera (Grape Seed), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Polysorbate 20, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, and Quaternium-15.

Guarantee: None

JEN says: The Rejuvenating Eye gel seems to be very good when it comes to reducing wrinkles around the eyes thanks to palmitoyl pentapeptide 3. It also has the ability to improve the skin due to its moisturizing effects. But it does not have any ingredients that will help reduce puffiness of the eyes. So if your main problem with your eyes are wrinkles and fine lines, then the 4VOO Rejuvenating Eye Gel may be a good choice as an eye cream. But for those with puffy eyes, you may want to look for an eye cream for puffy eyes that will be able to better solve your problem like our Dermajuv Eye Gel review.

3LAB WW Eye Cream Review

Rating: starstarstarstarstar
star ratings small

Rating: 69/100

Price: $260.00

3LAB WW Eye Cream

Target Area(s): Wrinkles and moisturizes skin – Used as a day and night cream

The 3LAB WW Eye Cream claims that all of their products are tested positive 3 times, hence the name. It is supposedly developed by 2 chemists and a dermatologist and claims to be able to treat wrinkles and fine lines by using Promatryx and Hydranox to fill in these lines and give your skin a smoother looking appearance. Aside from this, it also claims to brighten the skin, even out skin tone and eliminate dark spots and other blemishes on the skin.

Most Effective For:

  • Can eliminate wrinkles quickly but temporarily
  • A good moisturizer for the skin

Other Factor to Consider:

  • Very expensive for an eye cream
  • Has no long term effects that can get rid of wrinkles and other signs of aging around the eyes
  • Ingredients are not very well known and not proven to improve the appearance of the eyes and skin

Description: 3LAB WW Eye Cream is a moisture-intense treatment for wrinkle-smoothing, brightening and under eye dark circles. It contains 3LAB's patented age reversal ingredient, Nano-Claire GY™ that helps skin look and feel younger. Benefits: Firms the skin giving the appearance of a "lift." Increases circulation in the delicate orbital eye area thus reduces the appearance of dark circles. De-puffs under eye and smoothes wrinkles. Repairs the skin from past damage from the environment and prevents UV damage.

Direction for Use: Using your ring finger, apply WW Eye Cream along the orbital bone and along the brow bone twice a day after cleansing.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua/Eau), Glycerin, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Dimethyl Isosorbide, C10-18 Triglycerides, C12-20 Acid PEG-8 Ester, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glucosyl Hesperidin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hydroxyproline, Niacinamide, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Human Oligopeptide-9, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Squalane, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Lecithin, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Chloride, Coco-Glucoside, Hexylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 60, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Dimethicone, Propyl Gallate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, EDTA, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid.

Guarantee: This product can only be shipped to United States

JEN says: Looking at the ingredients of this cream, it has no proven ingredients that will give a long lasting anti-aging effect on your eyes. Most of its ingredients are not well known and it basically acts as a wrinkle filler that will only temporarily hide wrinkles and fine lines. Its most important effect maybe its moisturizing capability which can also be seen in a lot of other eye creams. Taking into account its price of $260, almost no one will be enticed to buy such a cream. For one, paying more than $100 for a cream is already expensive. It also cannot promise to give long term anti-wrinkle effects and most of its actions can also be provided by other cheaper but more effective creams. Elite Serum (2011 Formulation)

Rating: starstarstarstarstar
star ratings small

Rating: 90/100

Price: $89.95

Target Area(s): Crows feet, dark circles, fine lines, puffiness and wrinkles – Use as a night cream

Elite Serum is a recently launched product with the tag line:“Defend. Protect. Rejuvenate”. The packaging makes it look like a botox injection but it's not. Despite the gimmick, it is a pretty good product from a company with a history of making products that work. Here's what they claim it can do:

  • Lift and Firm Skin
  • Diminish Crows Feet
  • Smooth Fine Lines
  • Eliminate Puffiness
  • Reduce Dark Circles

Besides the companies marketing, here's what it has going for it:

  • Many satisfied customer testimonials.
  • Has real before and after pictures that proves it works
  • They're using Argireline. We know this works to relax wrinkles.
  • A previous product in their skin care line was featured in many industry publications as well as print media like Yoga Magazine, where it was named “Editors Choice of 2009.”
  • The ingredients are known to boost collagen
  • Competitive Price

Other Factors to Consider:

  • Some might find it difficult to dispense

Description: How does Elite Serum work?

It has some of the most effective anti-wrinkle, anti-aging ingredients in it. Scientifically, these have been proven to work. Here are the ingredients to watch out for: Argireline, Snap-8, Haloxyl, Eyeliss, Matrixyl 3000, and Syn-coll.

Instead of the normal fillers and binders which some products have to try and make the product last longer, Elite Serum contains antioxidants like red and green seaweed extract, which are known to preserve the skin’s natural collagen.

Direction for Use: Squeeze it directly onto areas around your eyes. For more intense treatment, apply a thick layer around and under your eyes in the evening and leave on overnight. Don't put it on your finger first. Put it directly onto your skin and massage it in.

Ingredients: Contains a high concentration of pharmaceutical-grade peptides – Argireline, SNAP-8, Haloxyl, Eyeliss, Matrixyl-3000, Syn-Coll, Green Seaweed Extract and Pure Hyaluronic Acid

Guarantee: "Lab-tested with only the highest quality ingredients." — not a very good guarantee.

JEN says: The company has had great products in the past, so I trust them, but this product has yet to be proven. I would use it only if Lifecell Eye Cream didn't work for you. If you have used Elite Serum I urge you to leave an Elite Serum review in the comment section below.

Rating: 82/100

Price: $88.00

DDF Bio-Molecular Firming Eye Serum

Target Area(s): Fine lines – Used as a day and night cream

Guarantee: None

Most effective for:

  • Hydrating the skin
  • Soothing the skin
  • Moisturizing under make-up

Other positive review:

There is definitely an instant lift and I think over time, the crows feet have softened. I have very dry skin so I use it in conjunction with Jan Marini Transformation Eye Cream and the two work wonders.

Other factors to consider:

  • Causes painful side effects for some
  • Not ideal for sensitive skin
  • Does not get rid of dark circles

Other negative reviews:

I was hopeful in trying this product,as I have alot of deep wrinkles, crows feet, and abused the sun in my younger years. I wasn't expecting miracles, but for the price I was sure I would get results. Unfortunately because of my sensitive skin, I didn't get to try it for very long, and exchanged for a different product.

Description: DDF's Bio-Molecular Firming Eye Serum™ is a technologically and scientifically advanced eye formulation with a complex of growth factors and proteins composed of cell signaling factors capable of stimulating important rejuvenating functions. Works to promote visible firmness and tone in the delicate eye area, as well as smoothes fine lines and wrinkles.

Directions for Use: Gently pat with fingertips under and over eye area. May be used day and night, with or without make-up.

Ingredients: Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Hexapeptide-3, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Peg-100 Stearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Petrolatum, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vit. C), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Acrylates/10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cafe silane, (milk growth factors and peptides), Yeast Ferment Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Protein E

Sunscreen: None

JEN says: DDF definitely has its share in the eye cream market. They have plenty of products that have established their own name in the skin care industry. This particular cream, is one of the surprises when it comes to consistency and effectivity. For a light cream, it feels really creamy. It also works well under make up. I would say this product is ideal for women on the go with wrinkle problems. For other skin problems like dark circles and baggy eyes, you may want to use some other effective eye creams which would target those problems.
