Other positive review:
I really can't be without my Philosophy, but particularly Hope in a Tube! It has been great at minimizing the fine lines around my eyes and it's so soothing in the am & pm!
Other factors to consider:
- Too thick
- Leaves residue
- Clogs the pores
- Doesn’t absorb easily
Other negative reviews:
I really didn't like this eye cream. It's too thick and didn't hydrate my eyes well at all. I'm using the rest of the tube as a lip cream and that seems to work well.
Description: Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye & Lip Cream is designed by Philosophy to target fine lines. Their site says:
your eye cream should never feel like your moisturizer and our contour cream is no exception. upon application immediate skin smoothing benefits are realized due to the unique consistency of the formula. the formula incorporates a synergistic blend of both topical e and c along with topical polyphenols to help firm and revitalize eyes and lips. results are excellent and immediate. you need this product if…you are showing progressive signs of aging your fine lines are getting deeper your current eye cream feels too much like a regular moisturizer you want immediate results that can be seen and felt you want to temporarily erase fine lines and wrinkles around the eye and lip area
It is often described as very thick and creamy, which could go both ways, depending on your skin type. This is also the reason why this eye cream lasts a long time, and would probably make up for the price of 33 dollars. If not suited for your skin, you end up with trying to apply the eye cream for a long time, and later, with the residue left by this. It also has a tendency to clog pores, causing milia to form around the eyes. It has been reported to work for some women as well, preferred for the disappearance of fine lines, and the lack of scent, which sometimes irritate the skin.
Directions for Use: Apply each morning and night as the last step in your skin care routine. application should be limited to the outer areas of the eye and lip.
