TI can't believe the negatives about this product. I love it! It makes the skin around the eye super soft and soaks right in. It isn't heavy and greasy at all. Very light and has a pleasant smell. Thumbs up!
-BeKind20thersI adore this eye balm! It soaks right in and has really made a wonderful difference in the skin around my eyes in a very short period of time. It also reduces the puffiness when applied in the morning before make-up.

Terrible! Did nothing and was not hydrating at all… and it was super expensive. Returned it after about a month of using it with no results.
annaginsbergThis eye balm balls up on me! I had to pick the bits off my eye area after it became dry. Not something you want to do in the morning when you are in a rush. I have never used any eye cream that balls up! I used to be curious about L'Occitane's facial skin care products, but this eye balm, in addition to another disappointing product from the same product line, has really turned me off! I think I will never buy any facial products from this brand again.

Description: Immortelle Eye Balm by L’Occitane is often suggested for the treatment of dark circles. The product is described by the company as such:
An eye cream with anti-aging benefits: Reduce dark circles, puffiness and signs of tiredness around the eyes with this gentle cream. Formulated with Immortelle essential oil, this cream will soothe, moisturize, nourish and tone the delicate skin around the eyes.
Ironically, the positive reviews of the users of Immortelle Eye Balm claim its effectivity more on the reduction of eye wrinkles, rather than the treatment of dark circles. It is said to reduce eye wrinkles, but is mostly useless for those dark circles around the eyes. Other positive points about this eye cream is that its not greasy, and also reduces the puffiness of the eyes. It has been pointed out by many though, that the eye balm has a tendency to ball up when used under make-up. There are also reports of certain allergies experienced after the product use. The eye balm comes in a glass tub, which is mostly disliked by many of the users. It has a light scent that does not irritate or noticeably stay on the face very long.
Directions for Use: To apply, tap a small amount of Eye Balm on the bone around the eye twice daily.
Ingredients: WATER, ROSA CENTIFOLIA FLOWER WATER, POLYMETHYL METHACRYLATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, RUSCUS ACULEATUS ROOT EXTRACT, GLYCERIN, MYRETH-3-MYRISTATE, NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIETHYLHEXANOATE, DECYL OLEATE, HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN, POLYACRYLAMIDE, HELICHRYSUM ITALICUM EXTRACT, ZEA MAYS (CORN) STARCH , SORBITOL, DIMETHICONE, C13-14 ISOPARAFFIN, HEDERA HELIX (IVY) EXTRACT, PHENOXYETHANOL, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER) EXTRACT, TOCOPHEROL, CARBOMER, LAURETH-7, XANTHAN GUM, BENZOIC ACID
Sunscreen: None
Recommendation: Not effective as an eye cream for dark circles. Rather, you could consider it for the treatment of your fine lines. However, I would like to reiterate the possible side effects and allergies you may experience with the eye cream. I would recommend getting hold of a tester, before buying the actual eye balm.
