Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal

Target Area(s): Fine lines and dark circles – Used as a day and night cream

Guarantee: Depends on the store

Most effective for:

  • Removing dark circles
  • Minimizing fine lines

Other positive review:

This is a fantastic addition to the pro-collagen range, it is lightweight but yet very moisturising. This product is easily absorbed around the eye area, and a single pump does both eyes, which makes it last for ages! I have been using this since it was launched, and have seen a reversal of the fine dehydration lines (aka wrinkles) that had started to appear on the outer corners of my eyes.

Other factors to consider:

  • Stings the eyes
  • Has a tendency to clog pores
  • Doesn’t go well with make-up
  • Expensive

Other negative reviews:

I have been using the cream for approx 3weeks. I have noticed a difference in my dark circles. The only thing is wen i now apply my conceler it does not sit smoothly, where as before i could get a nice smooth coverage now it just clogs up and makes my eye area look dark. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

Description: This is one of the more expensive eye creams in the market today, costing $99 in most stores. The product description below states:

This intensive eye cream is formulated with a unique synergy of potent seaweeds that cleverly mimics the skin's function. The powerful anti-wrinkle properties of Padina Pavonica combined with the Amino Acids, Beta Carotenes and Vitamins B, C and E contained in Chlorella and Blue Green Micro-algae, help to smooth, firm and support ageing skin. Results are further optimixed with the anti-Oxidant properties of Methylsilanol Munnuronate, an organic derivate of seaweed that binds moisture in the Epidermis. Independent Clinical Trials* have proven that the appearance of fine lines around the eye contour is visibly toned and smoothed to reveal truly youthful eyes.

There are only a few reviews online about this eye cream, so there's not much information available out there to help make a completely informed decision. But if it costs this much, I expect really great results with little or no side effects.

Directions for Use: Morning and evening, warm 2 pumps of Pro-Collagen between fingers and with firm patting movements work the product around the contour of both eyes, taking care not to drag the eye.

JEN says: I’m not very keen on this product. Although it does work for some women, but for the price I expect a lot more. I would suggest you go search for other natural eye creams reviews that have the same or even better results, for a lower price like Avalon Organics Lavender Revitalizing Eye Gel review
